Military Match (Rifle)

TheMilitary Rifle Match is open to TCSL members and guests.

$10 TCSL members / $15guests

Registration starts at 9 am and the match begins at 10 am on the 100 ydrifle range and typically runs until noon.

A short safety briefing will be heldprior to the match. You can compete with any military style rifle; foreign ordomestic, modern or vintage, with iron sights or optics.

The course of firewill be 5 rounds slow fire in the prone position for sight-in. For score: 10rounds slow fire in the prone position, 10 rounds rapid fire in the proneposition, 10 rounds rapid fire in the sitting position and 10 rounds slow firein the standing, unsupported position to complete the 45 round match. Rapidfire segments require a magazine change or reload of the magazine with astripper clip or similar device and completed within 80 seconds. Slow firesegments are completed within 10 minutes.

Bring safe ammunition, eye and earprotection. Mats, slings and spotting scopes are useful accessories.
