Fenton Lakes Sportsman's Club operates one of Michigan's most complete shooting facilities across rolling countryside just north of Fenton. The club maintains multiple ranges and hosts competitive leagues, training classes, and public access shooting opportunities.
Ranges & Facilities: - 24/7 indoor pistol range (6 lanes, 50 feet) for members - Outdoor ranges: 25, 50, and 100-yard distances for rifle, pistol, muzzleloaders, and shotgun - 16-station sporting clays course (1 mile, heavily wooded) - 3D archery course (summer and fall) - Axe and knife throwing facilities - Clubhouse rentals (300-person capacity) with outdoor pavilion
- •Police Pistol Combat (PPC) draws competitors as far as Canada. Fall and winter indoor leagues run approximately 14 weeks with prizes including firearms. Open to public—club membership not required.
- •Jr. Rifle League (ages 10-18) meets Tuesday evenings during school year. $40 annual league fee includes junior membership; $6 per shooting night. Club provides rifles and ammunition. Structured progression from Provisional to Expert Marksman through NRA/Civilian Marksmanship Program standards.
- •Sporting Clays public access Saturdays and Sundays, 10am-3pm (weather permitting). Last line out at 2pm. "Red Key" members can shoot weekdays 9am to dusk during spring through late fall.
Additional events: Bowling pin .22 shoots, cowboy action shooting (SASS), steel challenge, and periodic fun shoots.
All classes taught by NRA Certified Instructors and overseen by NRA Certified Range Safety Officers. Options include:

- •Personal Protection In The Home (CPL/CCW requirement)
- •Personal Protection Outside The Home (Levels 1 & 2)
- •Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE)
- •NRA Refuse to be a Victim seminars
- •Range Safety Officer certification
- •Instructor training courses
