Flushing Rifle and Pistol Club has operated as a non-profit shooting facility since 1989. Located at 165 Industrial Drive in Flushing, MI, the club maintains two indoor shooting ranges accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to members.
New member applications go to the Board of Directors for approval. Membership space is limited—you may be placed on a waiting list if full. Upon approval, you'll complete a new member orientation before receiving your access key.
Intro to Shooting (First Steps) - 3-hour class for complete beginners - 1-2 students per instructor ratio - Equipment provided: pistol or revolver with ammunition - Handbook included - Cost: $35 - No club membership required - Contact: David Maddox at 810-259-6867 or [email protected]
CPL Class (Concealed Pistol License) - Full-day training meeting Michigan's legal requirements - Cost: $50 members / $75 non-members (pre-registration recommended) - Schedule: - 7:45am–8:00am: Registration/gun check-in - 8:00am–9:30am: Qualifier/warm-up (21 ft. distance, 8"×11" target). Bring: firearm, 30+ rounds, ear/eye protection - 9:30am–1:30pm: Classroom lecture (pizza provided). Covers all NRA requirements + Michigan legal requirements - 2:00pm–6:00pm: Range time. Bring: 150 rounds, 2 magazines (semi-auto) or 2 speed loaders (revolver), strong-side OWB holster, heavy belt, ear/eye protection - Requirements: You must attend all 3 sessions. 1. Download and complete the membership application from the club website 2. Join or renew NRA membership (discounted rates available through the club) 3. If membership is full, applications are placed on a waiting list in order of date received. You'll be contacted when space opens up.
