Ultimate Protection Academy in Clinton Township has been training Michigan concealed carry applicants longer than any other CCW/CPL partnership—since 1995. Founders Mary and Allen Polkowski built this facility with one goal: safety and health first.

The range operates as a private membership facility with no public customers, only members and trainees. It's one of only two ranges in America that allows lead-free ammunition only, protecting both shooters and staff from toxic exposure.

State Compliance & Beyond: - 1-day or 2-day 8-hour courses - 5 hours classroom instruction + 3 hours live fire range time (exceeds Michigan minimum) - Valid for all 83 Michigan counties - Smaller class sizes with high instructor-to-student ratios - All taught by Mary and Allen—no revolving door of outside instructors

Mary Polkowski is a nationally recognized firearm instructor who's appeared on network television, radio, and in print media. She's law enforcement certified and trained at prestigious academies including Gunsite, Front Sight, Massad Ayoob's Lethal Force Institute, and Sig Arms Academy.

Allen Polkowski and staff members are current and former law enforcement and military firearm instructors with credentials from International Law Enforcement Trainers Association (ILEETA), International Association of Law Enforcement Firearm Instructors (IALEFI), and National Association of Field Training Officers.
