Wayne County Sportsman's club

Wayne County Sportsman's Club operates on 50 acres in Romulus and has been the go-to for Southeast Michigan shooters for nearly 80 years. The club is open to the public for casual shooting, but membership unlocks special benefits, cost savings, and access to leagues that run year-round.

• •Trap: Two fields, open to members and non-members
• •Skeet: Three fields with a competitive travel league
• •Indoor Pistol: Members shoot free; guests pay $9/hour (limited to one visit per year)

New Members: - Working Member: $100 (requires 5 hours of club work annually) - Regular: $180 - Senior (65+): $140 - Junior (14-18): $35

Renewal: - Working Member: $100 - Regular: $170 - Senior: $130 - Junior: $35

Active military with valid ID gets 50% off all memberships

What You Get: - Free indoor pistol range access (members only) - Discounted trap and skeet rates ($6 vs. $9 for non-members) - Access to competitive leagues - Special events throughout the year

You must have your own shotgun or pistol—the club doesn't rent or lend. For trap and skeet: 7½ shot or smaller, lead shot only. Steel shot and 3-inch magnum loads are not allowed.

Basic supplies available: 12, 20, 28, and .410 gauge shells; .22LR ammunition; ear protection.

Current leagues run continuously and accept both members and non-members: - Travel Skeet League (shotgun, any gauge) - Indoor Pistol Leagues (members) - Friday and weekend duels

The club offers free lessons to get beginners started.
