Full description and what we offer
Lakes Area Shooting Sports has served the Brainerd Lakes Area since the early 1950s as a nonprofit member-supported facility. Originally known as the Lakeshore Conservation Club, they've evolved into a multi-discipline range that handles rifle, pistol, trap, skeet, and 5-stand shooting—all maintained for year-round use.
Memberships are straightforward: family memberships run $70 for 2025-2026, with lifetime options available at $1,000. With over 600 family memberships purchased in 2025, the club clearly resonates with the local shooting community.
The club partners with Brainerd, Pillager, and Central Lakes College trap teams, giving young shooters a safe, structured training and competition environment.
Beyond recreational shooting and league nights, Lakes Area Shooting Sports runs educational clinics and family events. This commitment to the next generation sets them apart as more than just a place to shoot—it's a community hub for safe firearms education.
