They offer three formats for Minnesota Permit to Carry / Concealed Carry certification:
Online Permit to Carry Class - Complete the classroom portion on your own schedule - Self-paced video instruction with testing on each section - Schedule your range qualification afterward at The Modern Sportsman Range in Burnsville - No hidden fees; range fee included in course cost (you only pay for ammunition) - Free loaner guns available ($10 ammunition fee) - Includes instruction on pistol fundamentals, mechanical knowledge of handguns, safe shooting practices, loading/unloading procedures, legal aspects of carry, self-defense law, and psychological effects of violent encounters
One-On-One Permit to Carry Class - Private instruction tailored to your needs - Includes range qualification
Small Group Permit to Carry Class - Classroom and range training in an intimate group setting
All classes include 24/7 support for 5 years after completion. You can call or email with questions about your permit, Minnesota law, or general firearms questions.

DC3 is designed to accelerate trained shooters to the next level. It covers shooting performance standards, shooting at elevated heart rates, target transitions, injured shooter skills, Stop the Bleed training, natural and improvised shooting positions, barricade shooting, and how to shoot, move, and communicate. Students need a minimum of 1,000 rounds and must have completed DC1 & 2 or equivalent training.
Specialized Courses - Concealed Performance Shooting - Vehicle Ballistics Lab ($250) - Tactical Pistol with Bill Blowers (Tap-Rack Tactical) — advanced course covering fundamentals, support hand shooting, manipulations, malfunctions, shooting on the move, and custom dry fire training plans ($700 + range fees)
Bill Blowers' Tactical Pistol is taught by a 25+ year law enforcement officer and SWAT team leader with 1,500+ mission experience and 5,000+ documented training hours. This is serious advanced instruction.
All classes cover Minnesota-specific legal requirements and reciprocity.
