Owatonna Gun Club is a non-profit, volunteer-run shooting club dedicated to trap and clay shooting sports. Located in Ellendale, Minnesota, just off I-35 exit 32, the club throws over 400,000 targets annually with a membership base exceeding 400 shooters.
The club operates 9 trap houses with PAT automatic target throwers on all stations. Two fields are lighted for evening shooting. Every trap features a Canterbury automatic voice release system, and White Flyer targets keep things consistent.
New for 2025: Garmin Zero S1 Trapshooting Trainer available for members—inquire at the clubhouse for availability.

Summer leagues run June 1 through August 31, 2025:

The club registers competitive shoots throughout the year, including the annual Kyle Wolfe Memorial Trapshoot (June 5–8) and the Dave Schroeder/Kyle Wolfe Memorial High School Invitational (May 3).
Owatonna Gun Club focuses exclusively on trap and clay shooting. They do not operate rifle or pistol ranges.
From I-35, take exit 32 (Hope). Head west one mile on County Road 414, then turn left and go south 1.5 miles on County Road 22 (37th Ave SW). The club will be on your left.
