Minnesota & Florida Permit to Carry

They offer online renewal ($69 for MN multi-state, county sheriff charges up to $100 for application fee). After completing the online course, you come in during business hours for the live-fire exercise. You have 1 year from online completion to finish the qualification.

Florida Non-Resident Permit upgrade costs $30 (plus Florida's fingerprints, passport photo, and application fee). The courses cover 28 states—35 if you add Florida certification.

Important: The online renewal course is for people renewing their permit. First-time permit holders must take the in-person class. You also need basic handgun familiarization (controls, grip, mag loading, sight acquisition) or you won't receive a certificate at the range qualification.

Gun rentals with ammo for class run $30. All rental ammo must be purchased at Total Defense for liability reasons.

USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals (DSF)

Three cumulative levels—$99 each, or all three for $299 plus the USCCA DSF book free.

• •Prerequisites: You must have completed a valid Permit to Carry course from a certified instructor. Each level is cumulative—you can't skip to DSF 2.0.

What to bring for DSF classes: - Semi-auto firearm (.380 or larger—one can be provided for additional cost) - 3 magazines and mag carrier (double preferred) - Holster - At least 200 rounds of premium factory ammo (no steel or aluminum cases) per level - Eye and ear protection

Action League

Monday nights starting at 5:30 PM. "Outlaw Match" style following USPSA rules. Cost is $20 per shooter plus tax. Limited to 35 shooters—registration required, no walk-ins. Four stages each night across two bays. PCC is allowed. Scores posted weekly to PractiScore.

Any-Day Pistol League

Winter season starts 12/19/2023. Stress-free, "shoot at your leisure" format. $15 registration for the season plus $15 per week (includes eye and ear rental and targets). Each season runs 10 weeks. 50 rounds of ammo per week, no handgun restrictions, switch firearms anytime. No first/second/third place—it's compete-against-yourself scoring. End-of-season reception with food, drinks, and prizes for those who complete all 10 weeks. Scores posted online and in-store weekly.

Youth Any-Day Pistol League

Available for younger shooters during the same seasons.
