Brule River Sports Mens Club

• •Brule River Sportsmen's Club is a fly fishing and river conservation organization, NOT a shooting range. Located in northwest Wisconsin (not Missouri), this 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization has nearly 400 members dedicated to preserving and improving the Brule River.

The Brule River Sportsmen's Club is dedicated to conservation of one of the nation's finest spring-fed streams. Founded in 1962, the club received federal 501(c)(3) classification as an educational, charitable, and social organization in 2000.

• •Fly Fishing - The club focuses on maintaining cold, clean waters and fostering appreciation for responsible angling practices
• •Canoeing - Members enjoy recreational paddling on the Brule River
• •River Conservation - Extensive habitat restoration projects, spawning bed restoration, and stream corridor cleanups
• •Educational Programs - The club operates two scholarship programs for students pursuing natural resource careers

This is a membership-based organization that meets monthly (except December) and produces a monthly newsletter. The club partners with local sporting groups, nonprofit organizations, schools, and state/national wildlife organizations on environmental initiatives.

The Brule River Sportsmen's Club has invested heavily in stream habitat projects since the mid-1990s, including aggressive spawning bed restoration using over 948 yards of washed gravel to restore historic spawning areas. The club advocates for angling regulations that support self-sustaining wild trout populations.
