The Range STL West

The Range STL West is a full-service shooting range and training facility located in Ballwin, Missouri, offering comprehensive instruction and competitive shooting opportunities for firearms enthusiasts of all skill levels.

The facility operates as both a public shooting range and exclusive membership club, featuring dedicated firing lanes for handgun, rifle, and shotgun disciplines. The Range STL West specializes in defensive shooting sports, hosting regular IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) competitions and skills training.

The range offers extensive coursework across multiple disciplines:

Handgun Training - CCW Certification and Advanced CCW courses - Basic Handgun Skills and Women's Basic Handgun Skills - Defensive Handgun I, II, and III progression - Low Light and Holster Draw Certification - Specialized drills programs

Rifle & Shotgun - Basic Carbine through Carbine III progression - AR Armorer courses - Shotgun fundamentals and advanced techniques

Specialized Training - Law enforcement P.O.S.T. qualifications - Private security coursework - Tactical medical training (Tactical Triage and Treatment) - Women's Awareness and Safety seminars - Firearms for Home Defense instruction

The Range STL West hosts monthly IDPA competitions on the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM, with sign-ups opening Friday at 6:00 PM on PractiScore. Competition Skills and Drills occur the last Thursday monthly. Special events include "Silent Night" and "Girls Just Wanna Have Guns."

Membership options include Individual, Family, and First Responder & Military packages. The facility welcomes new shooters and provides a structured progression for skill development. Non-members can participate in specific events and training classes.
