Beacon of Montana Youth Camp (formerly SEP Montana Youth Camp) has been running summer programs for Montana kids for nearly two decades. The organization offers multiple camp formats to fit different age groups and family schedules.
Overnight Camp runs for a full week at Canyon Ferry Lake and serves kids ages 8 (entering 2nd grade) through 17 years old. The 2026 session is scheduled for July 28-Aug 1.
Day Camp runs shorter sessions for younger kids in kindergarten through 12th grade, held at Living Hope Fellowship in the Helena valley. The 2026 day camp runs August 11-14.
Staff Boot Camp is a weekend training program for current and future camp counselors, scheduled for April 26, 2025.
Beacon combines outdoor recreation with Christian living instruction:
The camp employs professional staff including a worship leader, medical services coordinator, waterfront director, and specialized instructors in archery and riflery.
Beacon offers scholarship opportunities to make camp accessible to families at different income levels. Pre-registration discounts are available for the 2026 season.
Beacon is fundraising for "The Beacon Dream"—a permanent 20+ acre camp property. Phase 1 land acquisition fundraising has begun.
