Flathead Firearm Handling

Flathead Firearm Handling started as a shared vision in 2013 between JT Pharr and his father, a police officer and firearms instructor with 30+ years of experience. Though his father passed away in 2014, that original mission still drives the company: safe, effective training that welcomes beginners while challenging experienced shooters.

JT served multiple deployments with the Marine Corps and later founded a defense contracting firm where he trained in everything from long-range precision to close-quarters battle. He's nationally certified as a firearms instructor and range safety officer, plus holds Montana state-level certifications.

Annahh Pharr, the women's pistol instructor and administrative lead, brings 20 years of management experience across retail, nonprofit, and finance. She came to firearms training later but is now passionate about helping other women build confidence and competence in handling firearms.

All pistol courses include a Montana Weapons Training Certificate from a state-certified instructor and satisfy the legal requirements for your Montana Concealed Weapons Permit.
