Black Mountain Outfitters operates wilderness hunts and pack trips from their base in Paradise Valley, Montana, north of Yellowstone. Scott and Sandy Sallee have been guiding backcountry expeditions since the early 1980s.

They run deluxe wilderness tent camps—complete with carpet, sauna, shower, full-course meals, and comfortable cots. Not the "suffer through it" kind of backcountry trip.
