Deep In The Bush Adventures was established in 1996 by owner and professional hunter Jeff Jerome. What started as a personal hunting operation expanded to Montana in 2008, Saskatchewan in 2016, and Argentina in 2024. Jerome brings over 30 years of hunting experience and has taken 40+ game species with a bow—a background that directly shapes how these hunts are guided.
The flagship operation covers private land in the heart of Montana with consistent access to quality game.

Deep In The Bush Adventures partners with Bear Paw Outfitters in zone 70 of Northeast Saskatchewan, managing thousands of square miles of prime bear habitat.
Black Bear Hunt Details: - Success Rate: 95% over the past three years with 100% opportunity - Color-Phase Bears: 10-25% color-phase harvest rates year over year - Hunt Timing: Late May through mid-June (spring season) - Guide Ratio: 1x1 (one guide per hunter) - Setup: Hunts conducted over active baits, regularly monitored with trail cameras

- •Plus bear tag/license ($250 separate)
- •Accommodations: Rustic but clean and comfortable facilities with newer construction. Electricity via 17,000-watt generator. Flush toilets, shower facilities, on-site freezers for trophy care. All bedding provided.
- •Getting Your Bear Home: BPO skins and freezes your bear and prepares it for transport. If taking the hide and skull, hunters must bring their own cooler or tote—all transport costs are the hunter's responsibility.
- •Border Requirements: Non-resident hunters must complete Canadian Firearms Declaration forms (RCMP 5589/CAFC 909 and RCMP 5590/CAFC 910) in triplicate, unsigned, plus $50 CAD payment at the border.
El Pampa is a private lodge in Patagonia's La Pampa province, 93 miles from Santa Rosa. The operation manages 87,000 acres of free-range land plus a 2,100-acre fenced reserve for trophy management.
Red Deer Hunting (Peak Season: March 10 - April 15 "The Roar")
Red deer are nocturnal and hunted at dawn and twilight, stalking through scrubland. During the roar season, hunters can locate bulls by their calls.
