Elk Creek Outfitting

Born and raised in the Elk Creek drainage, the owners have been guiding hunters in Northwestern Montana since the early 1990s. They hunt private land and licensed territory in the Cabinet Mountains across Kootenai and Lolo National Forests—country that produces trophy-class animals year after year.

Big Game Hunts - Elk hunts: 6-7 days, $4,000–$5,800 - Mule deer hunts: 6 days, $4,000 - Whitetail deer hunts: 6 days, $4,500 - Mountain lion hunts with hounds: 5 days, $6,800 - Also available: Moose, sheep, mountain goat, buffalo, wolf - Heritage muzzleloader season: December 14–26 ($5,200–$5,800)

Fishing & Summer Packages - Guided fishing trips (day rates, up to 6 people) - Summer cabin vacations at the lodge

Hosted jointly with Article 4 Rifleworks. Two-day courses ($1,950) cover rifle setup, ballistics, long-range fundamentals, trajectory validation out to effective hunting distance, and field shooting scenarios. Classes run May, June, and July.

Located 70 miles south of British Columbia, approximately 2.5 hours south of Missoula, MT. They arrange pickup from Missoula airport or provide detailed maps for drivers. All hunts include meals, lodging, guide service, and packing out your animal.
