Bull Basin Outfitters

Bull Basin Outfitters operates two hunting properties—Perfect Light Ranch and Willow Creek Ranch—near Livingston, Montana. The outfit is run by licensed professional guides Ed Lamb and Richie Winters (Outfitter #26839), both of whom have been guiding big game hunts since the properties' inception.

Richie Winters brings 20+ years of professional guiding across Montana on both sides of the Continental Divide. He specializes in archery elk hunting and treats every detail as critical to a safe, successful hunt. He's constantly developing his archery skill set during his passion season.

Ed Lamb serves as Ranch Manager with unparalleled knowledge of the properties. Beyond guiding, he manages wildlife on the land—installing water tanks for game, replacing old fencing with state-of-the-art game-friendly flex fence, and directing sustainable grazing and planting schemes.

Dustin Homan rounds out the guide team, bringing a lifetime of Montana hunting experience and a background in backcountry wilderness hunts. He runs a full-time hay and beef operation in the Shields Valley when not guiding.

Bull Basin guides trophy elk, deer, and antelope. Archery hunts require final payment by August 15; rifle hunts by September 15. A 50% deposit books the hunt; deposits are non-refundable if you cancel or leave early but may be transferred to a friend.
