Full description and what we offer
Founded in 1923, the Laurel Rod and Gun Club is a non-profit organization built around a simple purpose: bring together hunters and shooters to exchange experiences and sharpen their skills.
The club operates two distinct shooting facilities to serve different discipline needs:
Located just north of the Laurel Airport, this is the club's precision rifle platform. The range includes: - Long-range targets at 400, 600, 800, and 1000 yards (steel) - Sight-in range with paper targets at 25, 50, and 100 yards - Two pistol bays for handgun work - Life-size silhouettes being added
Membership: $200/year
Located 3 miles east of Silesia on Moser Dome Road, this is the club's versatile facility: - 7 covered bench positions with backstops at 25, 50, 100, and 200 yards - Uncovered 25-yard pistol range - Shotgun patterning area with clay target throwing capability - Unsupervised access with member key
Membership: $75/year (runs May 1 - April 30; prorated to $40 after January 1)
Combo Deal: Get both ranges for $250/year
Open to ages 18+. Your membership includes: - Access for spouse and dependent children under 18 - Children under 16 must be accompanied by a registered member - 2 free guest access slips per year ($5 each for additional guests) - Affiliate membership to Montana Wildlife Federation - Support for Montana Public Lands/Water Access Association
