Full description and what we offer
Great Northern Pawn operates pawn shops across central Montana—Butte, Helena, and Bozeman. They've been doing this a long time, which means they know what things are worth and how to move inventory.
They accept jewelry, firearms, power tools, electronics, musical instruments, collectibles, and clothing—pretty much anything valuable in good condition. You can:
1. Bring in your item (or items) 2. Staff appraises it and provides a fair offer 3. You agree on terms and complete paperwork 4. Walk out with cash—usually under 30 minutes
If you can't repay by the due date, the item becomes theirs to sell. No credit hit, no additional penalties. You can also extend or renew loans to keep your item longer.

All items sold come with quality assurance. Every firearm, tool, piece of jewelry, and electronic device is inspected and tested before sale. If something goes wrong shortly after purchase, contact them about repair, replacement, or refund options.
"We stand behind the quality of the items we sell. We make every transaction seamless for your convenience. We won't rip you off by giving you an inaccurate product assessment. We'll give you as much money as possible for your items."
Fair appraisals matter when you're selling or borrowing. Their valuations are based on market value, condition, brand, and current demand—not some made-up number.
Each location carries:
Bring proof of ownership if it's a firearm (or be prepared to discuss provenance). They handle firearms sales with proper licensing. All pawned items are stored securely—if something gets damaged while in their possession, they'll work with you on repair or fair compensation.
Loan terms vary by location and amount borrowed, so call ahead or visit to confirm specifics for your situation.
