Whittecar Rifle & Pistol Range operates as a nonprofit community facility managed by a 10-person Board of Directors. They maintain ten separate shooting ranges on 578 Blodgett View Drive, supported by an on-site caretaker and volunteer staff.
The range is open to the general public Wednesday through Sunday, 52 weeks a year. Seasonal hours shift:
- •Winter (Nov 2 - Mar 2): 9am-4pm
- •Summer (Mar 2 - Nov 2): 9am-5pm
- •Closed: New Years, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas

The rimfire range is open only to qualified members. To qualify, you must watch the rimfire safety video in the front office and have your membership card punched to verify completion.
