Full description and what we offer
Alliance Rifle Club was organized shortly after WWII and has been NRA-affiliated since May 26, 1949. What started as a community shooting club has evolved into one of the region's primary hosts for competitive rifle matches and shooting events.
Hoffland Range opened in 1985 and sits about two miles east of Alliance. This is the club's primary match facility, featuring a 1000-yard pit with covered firing line. The range is named after a town that once occupied the area. In 2008, the trees planted there were dedicated as the Erv Huber Memorial Forest to honor his decades of work maintaining the property.
Glen Fiebig Range was built from scratch. The club purchased 27.44 acres of land in May 2007 and opened the range to members in July of that year. Named to honor Glen Fiebig's contributions to the club, this range is designed for practice, sighting in, and shooting out to 200 yards. Recent upgrades include rebuilt berms at 25, 50, and 100 yards with all benches usable to 200 yards.
Both ranges sit east of Alliance on Highway 2 in Box Butte County.
The club hosts multiple matches throughout the year:

Alliance Rifle Club fills a specific role in the Nebraska Panhandle: they provide maintained outdoor ranges for practice and precision shooting, host serious competitive matches that attract regional competitors, and maintain a 1000-yard facility for long-range work. Unlike commercial ranges focused on throughput, ARC's mission is supporting the shooting sports community with infrastructure and events.
