IGY6 Gunsmithing started with a Marine. After 13 years on active duty and 31 years with BNSF Railroad, owner decided to chase a lifelong passion for firearms. He completed professional training through American Gunsmithing Institute—8 months of study and 5 exams to earn certification—then acquired his Federal Firearms License.

Elite Firearm Cleaning is the standout service. Instead of field stripping, firearms get completely disassembled and run through a professional ultrasonic cleaner that uses heated solution and high-frequency pressure waves to create cavitation—microscopic bubbles that clear contaminants from every surface inside and out. After cleaning, the same ultrasonic process applies protective lubrication. Critical parts get hand-lubricated during reassembly to guarantee smooth operation.
