Robison Tactical operates as a Las Vegas-based firearms training company founded by Sandy "Robi" Robison, a former Twin Falls County Sheriff's Deputy and Field Training Officer. Sandy is certified through the Nevada Sheriff and Chief's Association and approved as a CCW Instructor with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). She holds credentials from the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), National Rifle Association (NRA), and is an approved HR218 LEOSA Firearms Qualification Instructor for retired federal, state, and local law enforcement.

Co-owner Matt Robison brings additional expertise to the operation. The business also employs Range Safety Officers Patricia Mogg and Monte Hostetler, plus support staff including Associate Editor Pauline Zellner and social media manager Mike Link.

Concealed Carry Permits (CCW) - First-Time CCW: 8-hour minimum class meeting Nevada state requirements. Includes personal instruction, state proficiency test, permit application, state-approved B-27 target, range fees, and completion certificate. Cost: $130 - CCW Renewal: 4-hour minimum class. Same pricing and includes all materials needed for renewal - Armed Forces CCW Day: Special pricing for active military and veterans (must provide DD-214 or military ID)

Nevada CCW permits are valid for 5 years and allow carry in 31 states. The course covers state laws, responsibilities, ethical considerations, firearms safety, training, and qualification as mandated by Nevada law. Note: LVMPD background investigation can take up to 120 days and the permit is not guaranteed.

HR218 Firearm Qualification

Certified training for retired federal, state, and local law enforcement officers seeking to carry under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA). Sandy Robison is an approved instructor for this federally-recognized qualification.

PILB Armed Security Officer Certification - Initial Certification: $130, 13 hours across 2 consecutive days - Day 1: 8-hour classroom at 2516 Losee Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89030 - Day 2: 5-hour range qualification at Clark County Shooting Complex, 11357 N. Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131 - Pistol Requalification: Available for armed security officers renewing credentials

Day 1 classroom covers safe gun handling, criminal and civil liabilities, use of force law, advanced firing techniques, barricade shooting, and passing a written exam (70% minimum). Day 2 includes qualification with the same firearm and caliber used on duty.
