Warrior Poet Society

Warrior Poet Society operates a systematic training curriculum designed so students build unconscious competency in firearms handling before moving into stress inoculation and real-world scenarios. Each tier—whether pistol or rifle—follows the same philosophy: master the basics first, then layer complexity.

• •Pistol 1 covers safety, clearing, loading, drawstroke, stoppage clearing, and fundamentals of fire. It's designed for beginners but teaches realistic skills that survive stress.

• •Pistol 2 requires prior training and adds concealed carry considerations, cover/concealment use, fighter mindset, and movement.

• •Pistol 3 is the capstone—moving, shooting, and thinking under stress. Topics include fighting from concealment, one-handed operation, and integrating hand-to-hand combat.

• •Rifle 1 establishes foundation: safety, weapon operation, rapid target acquisition, target transitions, and rapid fire. No prior experience needed.

• •Rifle 2 (requires Rifle 1 equivalent) introduces movement, cover/concealment, alternate positions, and scenario-based stress fires.

• •Rifle 3 combines prior skills with active problem-solving through individual and group range evolutions. Heavy on movement and positional changes, completed at your own pace.

Each class expects 300-500 rounds (though you can shoot less and still receive course credit). Steel case and reloaded ammo accepted at your own risk. Steel penetrating core (NATO green tip) prohibited.

Beyond standard training, WPS runs the VIP Mid-Range Marksman retreat at Cedar Gate in Oklahoma—an all-inclusive education vacation combining firearms training with luxury accommodations and group dynamics.

They also operate WarPoet App for year-round training content and host spiritual travel excursions to Israel/Jordan that combine Scripture study with location education.

Classes held nationwide including regular Nevada, Idaho, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, and New Mexico dates throughout 2026.
