Nerio Firearms Training started with a simple idea: firearms classes should be welcoming, not intimidating. Founded on the principle that range safety matters and beginners deserve quality instruction, Britta Rottschy built the operation around a relaxed teaching style that encourages questions and real learning—not fear.

The business takes its name from Nerio, an ancient war goddess representing valor. That matters here. The three core maxims are Warrior, Valor, and Honor—the idea that responsible gun ownership requires knowledge, training, and integrity.

Concealed Carry Courses - Nevada and Utah CCW/CFP permits (8-hour course, includes range certification and lunch) - 3-person minimum | Range fee: $20 (includes free range day pass)

NRA Firearms Courses - Basic Pistol ($120) – Covers safety, handling, storage, malfunction clearance, practical shooting - Personal Protection In the Home (PPItH) ($200) – Defensive/offensive handling, shooting positions - Personal Protection Outside the Home (PPOtH) – 2-day course covering prone, seated, moving positions, plus psychological and physiological factors - Active Shooter Response – Lectures, videos, Q&A, live demonstrations on minimizing risk and survival - Refuse To Be A Victim (non-shooting) - Range Safety Officer certification

Specialty Offerings - Private training (customize schedule and size for your group) - Women-only courses across all offerings - Free seminar: "So You Think You Want a Handgun?" (non-shooting, show-and-tell, Q&A) - Free motivational talks: "Bad Things Happen to Good People" (group observational awareness)
