Nordstrom Guns is a locally owned and operated shop at 722 Canyon Road serving first-time shooters and experienced gun owners alike. They stock firearms, NFA items, suppressors, accessories, and parts—and if they don't have something, they'll track it down.
The in-house gunsmith handles:
- •Gun cleaning - Full service cleaning when your gun needs a spa day
- •Sight replacement - Because hitting what you're aiming at matters
- •Scope mounting - Installation that doesn't look like it happened during an earthquake
- •Trigger tuning - Smooth, precise trigger work ($70/hour, $30 minimum)
- •General repairs - Fixing stubborn parts and weird noises
- •Customization - From tactical to classy to video-game aesthetic
Phone estimates available, but they recommend bringing the firearm in for an accurate diagnosis.
Standard Transfer: $30 per firearm, $15 each for additional serial numbers on the same transfer. Add $25 if no Nevada Concealed Permit (covers background check). Firearms are processed within ATF requirements and held for 7 days from notification—$5/day storage after that.
NFA/Class 3 Items: $50 transfer fee per item, plus:

Direct purchases waive transfer fees. Buy a firearm or NFA item directly from Nordstrom Guns and skip the transfer charges. (Extra NFA fees still apply.)
Requirements: - Valid Nevada ID showing current residence (no exceptions) - Seller must include their FFL copy, your name/phone, and sales receipt - 7-day pickup window or $5/day storage fee applies - Items not picked up within 30 days are considered abandoned - Arrive at least 15 minutes before closing for pickups
Handguns, rifles, shotguns, suppressors, NFA items, optics, lights, lasers, barrels, barreled receivers, ammunition, pepper spray, gun parts, and tools.
Returns & Restocking:
Accessories can be returned within 10 days in brand-new condition for 10% restocking fee. No returns on: firearms, suppressors, ammunition, pepper spray, optics, flashlights, lasers, barrels, barreled receivers, gun parts, tools, or clearance items.
Used and consignment firearms are sold as-is with no returns or exchanges.
