Full description and what we offer
Be Safe Firearms Training serves New Hampshire's Seacoast with classes designed around real self-defense—in your home and out. Instructor Jeff DeMarco, USCCA certified, built this around a straightforward principle: untrained firearms are dangerous to you and everyone around you. Training isn't legally required in Constitutional Carry NH, but it absolutely should be your first step before carrying or keeping a gun at home.
Core Classes: - Intro to Basic Handgun & Safety — 2.5 hours classroom plus 1 hour range. Covers fundamentals, grip, stance, clearing malfunctions, ammunition, and use-of-force options. USCCA certificate issued. (Massachusetts LTC approved) - Home Defense — 3 hours for individuals or couples learning to protect against violent intrusion. No range time. Covers personal defense plans, legal use of force, violent encounter aftermath, and tactical gear. (Not MA LTC approved) - Women's Handgun & Self Defense — Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. Created by USCCA Senior Training Counselor Beth Alcazar, these smaller classes focus on fundamentals through advanced defensive shooting in a comfortable, female-only environment. - USCCA Mini Courses — Focused 55-minute classes on specific topics: Constitutional Carry, personal protection planning, defensive shooting fundamentals, legal use of force, and gear selection. No range time (add-on available). - Private Instruction & Couples Classes — Fully customized programs combining classroom and range time tailored to your needs and concerns.

New Hampshire Context: While NH's Constitutional Carry law doesn't require licensing or training to carry, DeMarco's position is clear—training should come before carrying. Classes discuss NH gun laws and practical legal considerations for self-defense situations.
"Our goal for me personally and as a company, is to give you the skills to legally, physically, morally and financially defend and protect yourselves and your loved ones."
He believes everyone planning to own or carry needs training in safe handling and the judgment to use a firearm appropriately. Whether you already own guns or are thinking about buying, classes start at basics and scale up based on your experience.
