Full description and what we offer
Christy Painchaud is not a traditional firearms business—she's a survivor advocate who happens to offer firearms training as one of several services. Her primary work centers on empowerment through her "Christy's Survivor Journey" platform.
Christy is a former Air Force Special Agent (Office of Special Investigations) who retired in May 2017 after serving her country. Her personal journey as a rape survivor became the foundation for her advocacy work. After 13 years of not knowing her attacker's identity, she faced him in court on January 19, 2007, delivered a victim impact statement, and saw him sentenced to 25 years (minimum 9). She's continued fighting for justice through parole board hearings and testimony, most recently appearing before the Ohio Parole Board in December 2020.
"I'll be speaking from the VOICE within my heart, I just only hope they truly listen and hear me." —Christy Painchaud
Christy combines her background as a federal investigator with her lived experience as a survivor. She's publicly documented her 27-year journey from violent assault to justice, including:
Based in Alton, New Hampshire (carroll County area), serving survivors across the Northeast and beyond through speaking engagements and online platforms.
Connect with Christy: She's accessible through her website for speaking inquiries, firearms training, or organizing services. Her blog provides free content on survivor healing and empowerment.
Christy believes that answering the calling to use your voice can create profound change. She practices what she preaches—after deciding in January 2018 to share her survivor story, she's built multiple concurrent ventures while raising two sons and supporting other trauma survivors.
