Lamprey River Bowhunters

Lamprey River Bowhunters is a private membership club for anyone interested in archery—whether you're a bowhunter, competitive shooter, or just looking for year-round shooting.

The club operates two main facilities at the Brentwood Recreation Center:

• •Practice range with targets from 20 to 50 yards
• •3D course featuring 15 targets along a one-mile woods trail

Open sunrise to sunset, year-round, for all members

Membership is open to both traditional and compound bow archers. The club hosts:

• •Two Granite State Bowhunter (GSB) 30-target 3D shoots annually
• •Weekly 3D shoots every Sunday (January through September)
• •Monthly club meetings (second Monday, 6:30 PM, except October)
• •Annual game dinner and cookout with the Sportsmen of Brentwood
• •Hunter safety education

The club maintains strict safety standards. Key rules include:

• •Stay behind the shooting line on the practice range
• •No broadheads on 3D course or standard practice targets (designated broadhead target only)
• •No alcohol on course per town requirements
• •Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
• •Report safety concerns immediately

The 3D trail is shared with hikers, ATVs, and bikers—members are expected to be courteous and respectful.
