Concealed Carry LLC provides NRA-certified instruction for concealed carry permits in New Jersey, Utah, Florida, and Maryland, plus private pistol training. All courses include the classroom component and live-fire qualification at a range.
You need to bring your own handgun—rentals aren't an option. The instructor will inspect your firearm against your ownership papers, so have those ready. You'll also need:
- •Valid photo ID and FID card (address must match)
- •Your own handgun and ownership documentation
- •Approved waist holster (IWB or OWB, must retain your firearm safely)
- •Strong supportive belt for your holster
- •At least 100 rounds of factory ammunition
- •Proper eye and ear protection
- •Extra magazines (at least 2 recommended)
This is not a beginner's course. You should be familiar with your handgun before arriving. The qualification is pass/fail.
The NJ course covers state-mandated curriculum including safe firearm handling, gun safety rules, range safety, proper storage, holstering techniques, use of force law, and legal consequences. You'll qualify using the State of New Jersey CCARE Protocol:

The instructor provides passport photos using your phone, FBI Q targets, your Certificate of Completion, and all required state forms (S.P.182 and S.P.182a).

Safety is the priority. Anyone not following gun and range safety rules will be asked to leave immediately—no refunds. Stay awake during classroom instruction or you'll be dismissed. No alcohol or appearing under the influence.
