The classroom portion covers state law, firearm safety fundamentals, and the responsibilities of carrying concealed. Then you head to the range—Reloadez Range, where Marcus works hands-on with each student.
This isn't standing in the back watching a video. He positions you, guides your grip, corrects your stance, and walks you through actual shooting. You get to try different firearms to find what feels right for you. If you're shaking after your first shots (happens more than you'd think), he knows to dial it back and rebuild your confidence.
Small class sizes by design. You're not one of 30 people. The instruction is personalized because Marcus can actually teach—not just talk at you.
Reviews mention Marcus repeatedly:
"He knows what he is doing and makes you feel comfortable while going through his course. Answered all my questions and went above and beyond in his training. It's very laid back."
"As a beginner, I came in a bit nervous and not knowing what to expect. Because of the small class sizes Marcus was able to teach me the important information in an easy-to-understand way and personally guided me to help me feel more comfortable."
"Marcus showed compassion for my panic attack and with patience, he checked in with me to describe how I felt and to tell him when I was ready to proceed."
Bilingual instruction. Marcus teaches courses in Spanish. Reviews consistently mention clarity in both languages—not just translation, but actual explanation that makes sense.

Over 100 recent reviews. The pattern: people show up anxious about touching a gun, leave with actual competence. Reviews mention feeling "well-prepared," "confident," "supported," and "not overwhelmed."
Veterans from open-carry states compliment the NJ law coverage. First-time shooters appreciate that Marcus doesn't make them feel stupid. People taking additional courses (different states, requalification) come back to Marcus specifically.
"I would like to give 10 stars if possible. Marcus provides all necessary training in detail. He trains with his students as if they were a friend, completely egolessly."
Private lessons available if you want deeper work on marksmanship or want to prep before the group course. Gift cards available if you're buying training for someone else.
