Perry Security Training Services is a full-service SORA instructor provider in East Orange, NJ. Owner Charles A. Perry brings 25+ years of law enforcement and security experience—he's a retired Essex County Corrections Officer and certified NJ SORA and NRA Firearms Instructor.

• •SORA Training - The core offering is the 3-step NJ Security Officer Regulation and Act (SORA) certification required to work security in New Jersey. The 24-hour in-class program covers use of force policy, active shooter response, terrorism awareness, incident command, and report writing. Initial virtual classes run $55; in-person runs $110. Renewal courses (8 hours) are the same price.

• •NRA Pistol Courses - $165 per person, includes ammunition and range time. Covers gun safety, revolver and semi-automatic operation, ammunition selection, storage, shooting fundamentals, and live fire qualification with an NRA Certified Instructor. They offer standard classes, a ladies-only option, and a National African American Association course.

• •Additional Firearms Training - Beyond NRA basics:
• •Fundamentals of Firearms (classroom only, $65) for first-time shooters
