Public Safety Training of South Jersey offers state-approved concealed carry classes designed specifically for applicants pursuing a CCW permit in New Jersey. The course combines classroom instruction with a required range qualification—both completed in a single 4-hour session.
You'll get: - Classroom instruction on use of force and carry laws - Live-fire qualification at an approved range - Certification of completion - FD-258 fingerprint card - Photographs for your permit application
All materials needed to move forward with the state's online CCW portal application.
To pass, you must:
- •Fire 10 rounds from each distance: 3, 5, 7, 10, and 15 feet
- •Achieve at least 80% accuracy on an FBI Q target
- •Demonstrate safe drawing and holstering from a secured holster
- •Show proficient and safe reloading
