RTSP operates two major facilities—one in Randolph (15-yard and 25-yard ranges with 21 ports) and one in Union (25-yard and 50-yard ranges with 40 ports). Combined, they offer six indoor ranges with electronic target retrieval systems, a 35,000 sq. ft. Union location featuring 9,000 sq. ft. of retail space, and a training center that's been rated #1 in New Jersey.
No gun. No NJ Firearms ID. No experience. RTSP handles it. You bring a valid photo ID and watch a 5-minute safety video. Their staff then walks you through:
- •Choosing from 125+ rental firearms (handguns, rifles, shotguns)
- •15-minute introduction course on safe handling and operation
- •Eye and ear protection (included)
- •Targets (included)
- •A range officer on your port if you're new
Standard handgun rentals run $20 each, and you can swap firearms in the same caliber at no extra charge during your rental hour. Out-of-state shooters? Welcome. Kids 8 and older with a parent? Welcome.
First-time shooters must be in groups of 2 or more unless they hold a valid NJ FID card or have an active/retired LEO credential. Single shooters with a Permit to Purchase can do a 30-minute "test drive" (up to two rentals) for $50 with an RSO present.
- •One-on-One Instruction Course: 2-hour beginner program covering safety basics, then live range practice
- •Gun Maintenance & Cleaning: 1-hour class that teaches you how to clean and store semi-automatic pistols. Get a free cleaning kit or 5 free rental vouchers
- •Digital Simulator (DigiSim Dojo): Theater-style immersive training system on the Randolph location. Up to 3 shooters at once. No ammo cost
- •F.A.S.T. Program: Defensive firearms training
- •LEO Training: Active and Retired Law Enforcement specific programs
- •NRA-Certified Classes: Multiple course offerings for all experience levels

RTSP is a Sig Sauer Elite Dealer with one of the largest retail firearm selections in the region. They also offer:

- •Randolph Location: Up to .308 on rifles, no handgun caliber restrictions. Slug and buckshot permitted. Same restrictions on armor-piercing, tracer, and steel-core ammunition.
