U.S. Family Martial Arts teaches Hojutsu-Ryu—the ancient Japanese phrase for "the Art of Gunnery." It's not just shooting; it's the combination of modern pistol technique with traditional Japanese budo philosophy. Students train across multiple weapons systems:

Instructors also cover unarmed defense, impact weapons, edged weapons, and ground fighting. But the core is marksmanship and combat strategy.

Following the Supreme Court's ruling that New Jersey can no longer require proof of "specific need" to carry, applicants now need a safety and marksmanship qualification with a certified firearms instructor. U.S. Family Martial Arts provides this required live fire course on a private lesson basis with NRA Certified Pistol Instructors.
The handgun must be legally registered to you to take the qualification course. Staff can help guide you through the changing NJ application requirements and documentation.
