Lou Costello Sportsmen Club

The Lou Costello Sportsmen Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Passaic, New Jersey, serving youth in Passaic County since 1975. Despite being categorized as a gun club, this organization is actually a youth boxing program—not a shooting range. The facility provides amateur Olympic-style boxing instruction and substance abuse prevention education to members ages 8 to 18.

The club operates under the motto "For The Kids" and is dedicated to developing honesty, self-discipline, good fellowship, and self-reliance in young athletes. Rather than firearm instruction, the Lou Costello Sportsmen Club specializes in:

Young boxers receive guidance from certified coaches and experienced boxers who serve as mentors and role models. Training includes exercise routines, instructional videos, didactic lectures, and clinics led by boxing officials. Nutrition and health education are provided by substance abuse experts and healthcare professionals.

The Lou Costello Sportsmen Club relies entirely on donations, grants from foundations, and corporate support to maintain operations and update equipment.
