Beginner Courses - 4+ hours, $180 per course Hands-on introduction to pistol, rifle, or shotgun. Includes classroom and range time covering gun safety rules, firearm parts and operation, ammunition identification, shooting fundamentals, and gun cleaning. No prior experience needed.
NRA Basic Shooting Courses - $225 per course - NRA Basic Pistol: 8 hours (revolvers and semi-automatic pistols) - NRA Basic Rifle: 14 hours (bench rest, prone, sitting, standing, kneeling positions) - NRA Basic Shotgun: 10 hours (moving targets)
The pistol course satisfies concealed-carry requirements in virtually every state.
Personal Protection Courses - Advanced training - NRA Basics of Personal Protection In The Home: 8 hours, ~100 rounds (requires proof of prior shooting experience) - NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home Level 1: 9 hours, ~100 rounds - NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home Level 2: Additional 5 hours, ~115 rounds (holster draw, concealed carry techniques, advanced shooting skills)
All NRA Basic courses require a $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve your seat.

- •Always treat firearms as loaded
- •Muzzle downrange, finger off trigger until ready to shoot
- •No loaded firearms leave the range
- •No steel-cored, armor-piercing, or incendiary ammunition
- •Lead shot only for shotguns
- •Only one firearm per person at a time (case others before uncasing)
- •Holster draws require Range Safety Officer approval
- •Cell phones prohibited on range
- •Range Officer commands obeyed immediately
- •If your gun malfunctions, lay it on the bench facing downrange and notify staff
The Range Officer reserves the right to inspect all firearms and ammunition and can refuse or eject anyone from the range.
