Tom Tomasi has been teaching handgun and personal protection fundamentals since 2002. His background includes 25 years of federal government service with instructor roles at TVI and DOE/NNSA, plus formal training credentials: NRA Certified Pistol and Personal Protection Instructor, MAG 20 graduate, and New Mexico Department of Safety Concealed Carry certification.
15-Hour Initial CCW License — $150/person or $250/couple - Satisfies New Mexico's training requirement for concealed carry application - Held Saturday & Sunday, 9:00am–4:30pm at City Shooting Park Range - Includes classroom instruction, live fire qualification, certificate, range fees
4-Hour Renewal — $75/person - Required every 4 years to renew your license - Covers law changes, deadly force refresher, application process review, shooting qualification
2-Hour Refresher — $50/person - Midpoint maintenance requirement during your license term - Focuses on reshoot of qualification course
Classes emphasize civilian self-defense scenarios—not military or law enforcement tactics. Course topics include:
