IDPA match bays 1 - 5

IDPA match across five bays at Del Norte Gun Club—this is a timed, scored defensive pistol competition where you move through realistic scenarios with your carry gun. You'll shoot from behind cover, reload under pressure, and engage targets at varying distances, all while the clock runs. It's the closest thing to testing your actual carry setup against the clock without the legal problems.

You'll shoot multiple stages starting at 8 a.m. on June 21st. Each stage tests different defensive fundamentals: accuracy, speed, movement, and decision-making. Competitors are grouped by division based on their gun type and setup, so you're competing against shooters running gear similar to yours. This is where you find out if your carry gun and your carry practice actually work together.
