Alamogordo Tactical Range

Alamogordo Tactical Range (ATR) is an exciting recreational facility in Alamogordo, New Mexico, offering a diverse range of shooting sports and tactical activities for enthusiasts of all skill levels.

ATR specializes in multiple shooting and tactical sports:

• •Airsoft Combat - Recreational airsoft gameplay featuring CQB (Close Quarters Battle) arena with multiple game modes including Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Domination
• •Archery Range - Dedicated archery facilities for target practice and competition
• •Axe Throwing - Exciting axe throwing experiences for group events and recreation
• •Golf Simulator - Indoor golf simulation for off-season training and recreation

Airsoft at ATR is conducted as a recreational sport using 6mm plastic BBs fired from replica firearms. The facility features an engaging CQB arena with helmet camera footage available to showcase the action. Gameplay relies on an honor system where hit players call themselves out.

The ATR site manager brings 20+ years of airsoft experience and provides comprehensive tactical training and safety instruction. The facility offers rental equipment for newcomers, making it accessible for beginners who want to learn the sport before investing in personal gear.

ATR operates Friday through Sunday for weekend airsoft action, with weekday evening sessions. The facility is located at 101 7th Street, Alamogordo, NM 88310. Please note: ATR observes special closures for private events (such as the annual Murder Mystery Dinner).
