Collar City Auctions operates from a 52-acre auction center at 9423 Western Turnpike (Route 20) in Delanson, NY, just outside the capital region. The company was founded in 1992 by Randy Passonno, a second-generation auctioneer who learned the business from his father Ralph F. Passonno Jr. (an auctioneer since 1971). Today, it's run by a three-generation team including Randy's son Nicholas as Vice President.
Nearly 40 years of combined auctioneering experience across licensed and bonded professionals who handle everything from high-profile asset liquidations to municipal tax foreclosures.
This is not a firearms retailer or shooting range. Collar City is a general auction house that conducts:
- •Real estate auctions – single/multi-family homes, land, commercial property, municipal tax foreclosures
- •Estate liquidations – complete appraisals and sales of household items, antiques, collectibles
- •Business liquidations – warehouse inventory, office equipment, industrial machinery
