Elk Ridge Outfitters

Elk Ridge Outfitters operates near Wilsall, Montana—about 20 miles northeast of Bozeman—with access to prime hunting territory in the Bridger and Crazy Mountain ranges. Their hunting grounds span over 28,000 acres across private ranches and USFS leases in hunting districts 312, 315, and 393.

The Bridger Mountains offer hunters one of Montana's highest elk success rates, backed by resident herds of around 900 head that stay year-round.

Because most hunting happens on private land, they manage game harvest directly. Montana Fish and Game regulations in their districts allow brow tine bulls or cow elk only—this selective approach means higher-quality 5- and 6-point bull hunts. They continually scout to locate game before your hunt begins.
