Legendary Waters is a professional fishing and waterfowl hunting guide service run by Derek Conant, a lifelong Central New York outdoorsman with credentials to match. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Biology and spent years working as a fly fishing instructor before becoming a guide.
- •Salmon & Steelhead on the Salmon River (Pulaski, NY)
- •Drift boat or wading trips, Sept-May
- •6-8 hour outings
- •Fly rods or spinning gear
- •Trout Fly Fishing in CNY creeks and tributaries
- •Brown, brook, and rainbow trout
- •April-October
- •6-hour trips
- •Waterfowl Hunting over the eastern finger lakes
- •Ducks and geese
- •Marshes and crop fields
- •Fall through late spring
All fishing gear is provided. Waders recommended but not required. A valid New York fishing license is required.
Pricing: $250-$1,000 per trip depending on party size and species. $100 deposit to book, balance due in cash on trip day.
Licensed guide Derek Conant (NYS License #8368) welcomes beginners and experienced outdoorsmen equally.
