Full description and what we offer
Long Island Tactical Training operates tactical firearms classes designed to bridge the gap between range shooting and real-world defensive scenarios. The philosophy is simple: you don't know what you don't know. Shooting at stationary targets doesn't prepare you for 360-degree threats, innocent bystanders, and the legal responsibility attached to every round fired.
Instructor Igor Shpak has accumulated over 500 training hours from some of the nation's best instructors, including courses from Front Sight, Larry Vickers, Ken Hackathorn, Pat McNamara, Travis Haley, Robert Vogel, Chris Costa, and Ben Stoeger. As an NRA Certified Instructor and Lifetime Patriot Member, Shpak also holds a Third Degree Black Belt in Hakkoryu Jiu-Jitsu—reflecting his broader commitment to defensive skills when firearms aren't accessible.

"After owning handguns for five years, I realized how little I actually knew. By the end of class, I had a whole new level of understanding, accuracy, and confidence. Igor pushes you just enough to take you out of your comfort zone." — Shawn C.
"Igor possesses vast knowledge and willingly shares it. Classes balance lecture with actual shooting time, with interactive teaching that makes learning fun yet comprehensive." — Eugene L.
The core principle: speed is fine, accuracy is final. Every bullet has a lawyer's name attached to it, and you're responsible for every shot. Classes teach you to think strategically, keep your weapon running under stress, clear malfunctions, and never give up.
Full refund if you cancel 30+ days before class. Class credit available if canceled 15-29 days prior. No refunds within 14 days of class start.
