Oneida Indian Nation Outfitters operates Salmon Acres and The Preserve—distinct destinations for New York's most serious outdoor hunters and anglers. Both properties are built around one idea: give people access to trophy game on private land without the crowding of public areas.
Located near Munnsville, NY, The Preserve sits on one of the East Coast's largest privately owned natural hunting habitats. Four hunt types are offered:
Hunting runs October through late December. Large, mature bucks and does with gray-brown coats roam through forested landscape in small groups. Hunters choose between:
Guests ages 15-18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Spring Season: May 1st – May 31st Fall Season: October 1st – November 15th
The guide team roosts birds in the evening, then calls them in the next morning using turkey vocalizations. Hunters can attempt to call birds into gun or bow range using tent blinds and decoys. The preserve maintains a turkey population in the hundreds, stocked with trophy Eastern long beards.
Red stag hunts and goose/duck hunts are offered seasonally on the property.
All hunts include professional guide services. The Preserve offers on-site lodging with multiple cabin options. The Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona (about an hour away) provides a full-service alternative with 20+ dining options, casino, nightlife, spa, and fitness centers.

Situated 30 minutes from Syracuse near Pulaski, NY, Salmon Acres occupies 36 acres of pristine wilderness on the Salmon River. Open to anglers for over half the year (May through November peak season), the location is known as an East Coast premier fly fishing destination.
Trophy salmon, steelhead, and trout populate the Salmon River falls. Day trips or multi-day visits with on-site lodging are available.

All cabins sit steps from the river with wooded, handicapped-accessible trails.
