CNY Pistol Class

CNY Pistol Class is an NRA-certified training provider serving Central New York with state-approved handgun safety courses and defensive pistol instruction. They're the go-to source for New York pistol permit requirements across Onondaga, Oswego, Madison, Monroe, Oneida, Jefferson, Lewis, Herkimer, Tompkins, Delaware, Otsego, Cortland counties, and NYC.

NY Pistol Permit Class – The 16-hour classroom and range qualification course required to apply for concealed carry. Held monthly at the VFW in Bridgeport.

NRA Basic Pistol – 8-hour course covering safe gun handling, pistol operation, shooting fundamentals, and range rules. Includes classroom instruction and live fire from bench rest and standing positions.

Personal Protection Inside the Home – 8-hour defensive course where students fire approximately 100 rounds while learning home defense strategies, firearm selection, and legal considerations.

Personal Protection Outside the Home – Available in two levels: - Level 1: 9-hour course covering concealed carry, storage, and essential defensive skills (~100 rounds) - Level 2: 5-hour advanced range training with ~115 rounds

Multi-State Concealed Carry – Florida and Utah non-resident CCW permits valid in 37+ states. Class includes permit photos, fingerprinting, applications, and notary services.
