Rochester Bow Hunters (RBH) is a premier non-profit archery club dedicated to providing exceptional field archery experiences in Bergen, New York. Founded in 1952 by local sportsmen, RBH has evolved into a well-established community resource for archers seeking practice, competition, and camaraderie.
Located on a 20+ acre wooded property, Rochester Bow Hunters maintains a professional field archery course featuring: - 28 targets arranged throughout the naturally wooded terrain - Shooting distances ranging from 80 yards down to 20 feet - Two full 14-target ranges for structured competition - Course designed to challenge archers of all skill levels
Established in 1952, RBH initially operated from a leased location on the Barge Canal. The club was formally incorporated as a non-profit in 1960, enabling the purchase of its current property in 1967. Originally affiliated with the Five Nations archery organization, RBH now partners with Western NY Field Archers and Bowhunters to expand competitive opportunities and community engagement.
