Tronsrue Marksmanship Center is an indoor shooting facility exclusively for Military and DoD ID card holders stationed at or visiting West Point, NY. Located in Building 665 at 665 Tower Road, it's the only range on the installation.
The facility features 22 individual firing lanes capable of handling pistols and rifles up to .223/5.56 caliber. The 25-yard range uses an electronic target carrier system paired with ballistic rubber construction for safety and noise reduction. Whether you're a first-time shooter or competitive marksman, the facility handles all skill levels.
Ear and eye protection provided if needed. Ammunition and paper targets available for purchase.

Tronsrue offers structured courses across multiple skill levels:
Coming Soon: NRA Pistol/Rifle Basic Instructor certifications, Low Light shooting, Red Dot Optic courses, and Tactical level training.
One-on-one instruction available for adults and juniors (age 16+) on both pistols and rifles. Each session includes:
1. Safety lecture covering firearm parts and handling fundamentals 2. Shooting fundamentals instruction 3. Live-fire range time with targets provided 4. Ear/eye protection provided 5. Firearms provided by Tronsrue
Ammo sold separately. Scheduling depends on instructor availability. Contact [email protected] for private lesson inquiries.
All personally-owned firearms must be registered with the Provost Marshal's Office (PMO) before use at Tronsrue. Registration forms go to DES Admin Section at the Military Police Station (Building 616, near Thayer Gate). Range Safety Officers require certified registration documentation during each visit.
