Cowboy Action Match

This is a SASS Cowboy Action match where you shoot timed stages with your single-action revolver, lever rifle, and shotgun while dressed in Old West gear under an alias. It's the sport that combines marksmanship with actual gunfighter scenarios and character—you're not just punching paper, you're working through period-correct stages that feel like something out of the frontier.

You'll move through different scenarios, engaging steel or paper targets in a sequence that tests both speed and accuracy. The whole event is run at Tioga County Sportsmen's Association on July 4th, 2026. It's straightforward competition: shoot the stages clean, fast, and in character. This is what happens when shooters decide accuracy competitions should actually be fun.
