Hull-O Farms Game Preserve

Hull-O Farms sits on 300+ acres in the Northern Catskill Mountains, managed by the same family that's been hunting and working this land for over two centuries. It's a working farm, not just a hunting operation—the difference shows in the details.

Pheasant walk-up shoots run September through March with dogs and handlers provided. Pricing scales with volume: - 1-10 birds: $35 per bird - 11-20 birds: $32 per bird - 21+ birds: $30 per bird

Half-day sessions (9am-noon or 1pm-4pm) include handlers and dogs for an $80 minimum. Harvested birds can be dressed on-site for $3.50 each.

Deer hunting covers rifle, muzzleloader, and archery seasons: - Rifle (3 days, opening): $800 per person - Rifle (2 days, after opening): $500 per person - Muzzleloader or archery: $500 per person (2 days)

Turkey hunting offers guided and unguided options: - 1-on-1 guided: $675 - 2-on-1 guided: $450 per person - Unguided: $400 per person

Spring and fall seasons available. Bear hunting also offered during applicable seasons.

You get private accommodations with woodstoves and full amenities, plus three farm-fresh meals daily prepared in the farmhouse. A recently renovated Great Room with cathedral ceilings and wrap-around porch gives you space to relax and decompress after days in the field.

The property's mix of crops, cover, and terrain supports healthy populations of white-tailed deer, wild turkey, and pheasant. New York State hunting licenses are required; non-resident big game licenses run $110 with doe permit lottery included. A 50% non-refundable deposit secures big game and turkey reservations.
